Gasket Factors

Look up gasket factor m and minimum seating stress y, used to size flange bolt loads. Values follow ASME BPVC VIII-1 Mandatory Appendix 2 (the Taylor Forge m, y factors).

Three ways to find a gasket:

• Material — search by material, e.g. graphite, PTFE, spiral wound.
• Gasket type — pick a gasket group.
• Threshold filter — set a minimum m or y.
