Through-thickness residual stress profiles for cylindrical circumferential (girth) and longitudinal seam welds, per API 579-1/ASME FFS-1 (2021) Annex 9D. Uses the effective yield \sigma_{ys}^r = \sigma_{ys} + 69 MPa (Eq 9D.1); supports as-welded heat-input banding and uniform PWHT (Eq 9D.3/9D.4). The girth-perpendicular profiles match BS 7910 Annex Q (R6 origin). Simplified-assessment estimate.
